Secure Home Modifications is a Newcastle based carpentry and multi trade business owned and run by Matt King. Matt has spent over 20 years delivering carpentry and multi trade modification works on commercial and residential projects and in the homes of NDIS participants. Every job is run the same way: turning up on time, respecting the household, explaining the work in plain English and leaving the site clean. We strive to live by one simple motto: done once, done properly.
What we do
From a single grab rail to a full bathroom access upgrade or an ongoing maintenance program, one experienced tradesman looks after your job from measure up to handover.
Home Modifications & Accessibility
Grab rails, shower and toilet rails to AS 1428.1 and OT prescription. Door widening, threshold ramps and step removal. Timber and modular ramps, handrails and balustrades. Wall and door edge protection, non slip flooring and bathroom modifications.
Multi Trade Maintenance
Plasterboard and cornice repairs, interior and exterior painting, small tiling jobs and regrouting. Door repairs and replacement, gates, fences and hardware. Timber decks, steps and repairs, minor concreting, and general property maintenance and make good works.
Carpentry
Licensed carpentry for residential and commercial work: framing, decks, steps and landings, doors and door frames, timber repairs, shelving and joinery fit offs. NSW Contractor Licence 495379C (Carpentry).
NDIS Participants
Secure Home Modifications is not a registered NDIS provider. We can work with participants who self-manage or have their plan plan-managed. We are unable to accept NDIA (agency) managed plans at this time. Please check with your plan manager or support coordinator that the works are covered by your plan before booking.
